Brief Moment

“Where power is concerned, you are drawn to it like a moth to a flame.”

So many assumptions made. A look at my form, at the demons at my side, at the paths I follow, and they figure they know what I’m about. Everyone does I suppose, but the Trainers more than most. I come to them to learn, and they smirk and give dire warnings about power leading to corruption. I suppose it doesn’t really matter. I learn from them, so it is of little consequence that they don’t understand.

It’s never been about power; it’s about control.
