Diary: Page Six

I’d arrived at the Undercity to see the bones of the fallen, and the small sphere of light that were all that remained of the slaughtered spectral citizens. I’d waved good-bye to Sakti as she went to investigate the alarm bells from Orgimmar. I’d stood in shock and horror, watching the Deathguards attempt to subdue an insane orc who was rampaging through the city, slaughtering the citizens. When I arrived at the Crossroads to find a handful of strong fighters attacking the unprepared, I couldn’t just watch any longer, though I was as unprepared as the rest of them.

Ring of Fire

It happened so fast.

One moment we were walking up a rise, and the next, we were surrounded. Troggs, angry and attacking from a cave to our left before we even knew they were there.

I’d been in the Chasm before. When Sakti asked if I would hep her in them, of course I said yes. I thought I knew what to expect.

Maybe the Troggs had learned that numbers could overcome strength. Maybe they’d just finally had enough of the people Thrall sent in to the Chasm to help clear them out. Whatever it was, were overcome for the moment fighting in a less than ideal position.
