Diary: Page Five

Some time ago, I sat on a beach, listening to a discussion about the Forsaken, the Apothecaries, and the Plague. At the time, it was my reaction to the first that frightened me into recognising a need for change. (That’s a debt I doubt I’ll ever be able to repay.)

Right now, it’s the last two that fill my thoughts. I could hardly pay attention to them at the time, lost in my own turmoil, but I think I remember her saying that the Apothecaries were killing people, and that she was helping. It didn’t occur to me to be upset at that at the time; I’ve killed for every faction in the Horde, so why should that one be any different?
