The Three Fates

I can’t deny that there’s a streak of paranoia in my nature. I don’t think it’s unreasonable, given, well, everything, but on occasion, it leads me to see coincidences as conspiracies. It leads me to doubt fate, and point the finger instead at planning. It leads me to wonder at the similarities in the those closest to me.

Tsuana: old witch, taunting with letters and gifts that force me to face myself rather than run. You told me that you knew my soul when I barely knew my own name. I will never trust you.

Sakti: bright soul, more attracted to a sharp blade than a pretty flower, full of life and energy. You said you heard my name in a dream, from this life or another, and though that unsettles me, I’m glad you did.

Avenhar: mysterious one, a voice through the Nether that offered help and friendship. I know so little about you, see you so rarely, but when I’m in need, you’re there. There power in you, and I’m glad I can rely upon it.

Three faces, three forms, three strengths. Mind, body, spirit: is it any wonder that I should be concerned at the convergence?
