Achievement
Jun. 12th, 2006 09:09 pmYou told me that I had potential. You saw me, content with where I was, as wasting away in complacent inertia.
You sought to break it. To show me things beyond the walls I lived in. To motivate me into doing something different.
You knew nothing about me, and yet, you sought to change me.
You succeeded, in a way. The trainers say they have nothing more for me, that all that is left must be learned on my own. I am achieving the potential you saw in me, I think.
But we both know this isn’t what you meant.
