Journal Entry Three

I do not know what to do with the book I have found. How does one learn to read something when you cannot even identify the language it was written in?

Perhaps it is foolish to think that this contains even a clue to the answers I seek, much less the entirety of them. For all I know, this could be some unknown mage's journal, much like the one I write in now. I highly doubt something of that nature will be of any use to me.

Unless...

I cannot have been the only one to be looking for answers such as these.

Can I?

It seems strange that few talk about it. I suppose death is never a comfortable subject, regardless of the angle taken on approaching it.

I must remind myself to not head to a tavern to write. Though I suppose Dwarven Drinking songs are interesting in an entirely different level. And it would not be healthy to focus entirely on research, or so Brother Marcus always told me.

I do not believe he really understood what I was looking. I am not certain that I do. I suppose I just want answers, and always have. I am here, they are not, though the Paladin claimed to have tried to save us all. I do not doubt his word on that, I just... It makes no sense, none of it.

I am too tired to think about this tonight. And distracted I suppose. If I had not been, I would not have gone and spent so much money in Ironforge. It was foolish, and a mistake I can literally not afford to make too often.

I did discover the library there, however, and that may be worth it in the end. The Dwarven collection of books covers and entirely different range of topics from those in Stormwind, from what I can see. Many of them appear to be older as well. I must return there and see if I can find the key to the book I now carry.

But that shall have to wait. For now, I am simply too tired.
